Analysis of current experience
Forum home page
The forum home page of the forum is not very inviting, this is due to the positioning of the buttons and the hierarchy of the information presented.
-
Filters and categories are occupying a prominent position, even though they are not the main actions of the forum.
-
The button to create a new topic position is not most attractive or intuitive to users and has the same hierarchy as the button to create a category.
-
There is a problem of hierarchy between the information of the topics, the author’s photo is the most prominent element, the title should be more visible.
-
There are no buttons that allow users to interact directly with a topic, or have a preview of the content.
Topic page
-
There is a hierarchy problem between the information on the topic. The title should be a highlight.
-
Commenting is at the end of the screen scroll, discouraging interaction.
-
The topic date is colored red, which is usually associated with error messages.
-
There could be a visual differentiation between the topic and the comments.
